Are permits included in the package prices?
Yes. Gorilla packages include your Uganda Wildlife Authority permit, accommodation, meals, a private 4x4 with driver guide, park fees and airport transfers. International flights, visas, insurance and tips are extra.
How far ahead should I book?
For June to September and December to February, book six to nine months ahead. March to May and October to November usually need three to six months. The habituation experience needs up to twelve months.
Can I combine gorillas, chimpanzees and wildlife?
Yes, and many guests do. Uganda is the only country where you can trek gorillas and track wild chimpanzees on one journey. Tell us your dates and we will link them smoothly.
Can you tailor a package for my budget or occasion?
Every package can be adjusted, from lodge level and length to honeymoon touches. Budget safaris are available on request.
What is the minimum age to trek gorillas?
Fifteen years, set by the Uganda Wildlife Authority.
