Gorilla Habituation Experience
One hour is wonderful. Four hours is something else. Spend a morning inside the daily life of a gorilla family, beside the researchers who know them best.
Four hours inside a gorilla family
The Gorilla Habituation Experience is offered only in Rushaga. You join researchers and trackers as they help a semi habituated family grow used to people, and you stay with the gorillas for four hours instead of one.
You watch them wake, feed, play and move through the forest, with researchers explaining behaviour as it happens. It is a deeper, quieter encounter, made for photographers and wildlife lovers.

Three moments you will carry home
A forest waking up
Trackers are already ahead of you, following the trail the family left. You walk behind them as the mist begins to lift.
Gorilla life, unhurried
You are not rushed after an hour. You see mothers carry infants, young gorillas play and the family move together, while researchers explain what you are seeing.
Stories at the lodge
Tired boots by the fire, a hot meal and a camera full of faces. You will want to tell it all again.
